Norway-based global packaging company Elopak is set to expand capacity at its carton converting plant in Little Rock in the US state of Arkansas by adding a third production line. The additional line is budgeted at $30m and is being introduced in response to customer demand. Eco-friendly packaging solutions provider Cascades has agreed to sell its flexible packaging plant in Mississauga, Ontario to US-based Five Star Holding. The C$31m ($22.23m) deal takes effect immediately. Cascades will retain ownership of the site real estate.
