Top market movers: Eight of top-10 firms lose Rs 79,129 crore in value; Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank lead weekly drag

The combined market capitalisation of eight of India’s 10 most-valued companies fell by Rs 79,129.21 crore last week, with Bajaj Finance and The BSE benchmark dropped 444.71 points, or 0.51%, during the week. Among the top-10 pack, only Bajaj Finance’s mcap plunged Rs 19,289.7 crore to Rs 6,33,106.69 crore, making it the biggest loser.
