Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ:SBUX) on Friday named Anand Varadarajan its new chief technology officer, starting Jan. 19. Varadarajan joins the world’s largest coffee chain from Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) , where he spent nearly 19 years.
