THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has sentenced Simon Huang, a Chinese businessman, to a fine of K1,200 for selling shoes with counterfeit Puma trademark. In this matter, Huang was charged with one count of offering for sale goods bearing a forged or false trademark description, contrary to Section 6(1)(g) of the Merchandise Marks Act of the Laws of Zambia.
