Shareholders of data centre infrastructure provider Core Scientific have voted against its previously announced $9bn acquisition by cloud infrastructure company CoreWeave. Core Scientific said that the required majority approval from its stockholders was not obtained, and, in line with the terms of the agreement, it has terminated the deal with immediate effect.
